Softworks (Bray,Wicklow) is now over 30 years old and we are a leader in the time and attendance work force management systems spanning across multiple sectors. We are looking to expand our technical team with an experienced full time AI team leader to complement our strong development workforce.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of AI researchers and engineers to deliver innovative AI solutions.
- Oversee the development and implementation of AI models and algorithms.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize AI opportunities.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Reporting to the CTO.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
- Extensive experience in AI research and development.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and other AI techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in the Time and Attendance industry.
- Knowledge of absence management and scheduling resources.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools.
