The Role

The SEO and PPC Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns and search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of the B2B software market. The successful candidate will drive traffic, generate leads, and improve our online presence through effective PPC and SEO tactics.

The Candidate

As our SEO and PPC Specialist, you will drive the Company’s digital presence to boost brand awareness while increasing traffic to acquire new customers. The ideal candidate will have experience across SEO and PPC on the research and implementation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Joining a busy marketing team with a multi-national remit will provide a variety of tasks. The main responsibilities being:

SEO

  • Performing an SEO audit and creating a roadmap to implement improvements.
  • Keyword research and identify gaps in our strategy and where we can improve on SERPs.
  • Working with the content writers on choosing the best keywords to target for blog posts and webpages, while also seeking new ideas for blog posts based on related keywords with lots of opportunities.
  • Providing reporting to demonstrate where we are improving in SEO.
  • Developing link building strategies.
  • Optimise on-page elements such as meta tags, headers, content, and internal linking for improved search engine rankings.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush.

PPC

  • Create a PPC audit and present back to Marketing Lead how to improve and develop a plan on how to implement those changes.
  • Improve both branded and unbranded paid campaigns
  • Working closely with the wider marketing team to make sure all strategy is aligned
  • Create compelling ad copy and design effective landing pages to improve conversion rates.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance, adjusting bids, keywords, and ad placements as needed.
  • Perform A/B testing to evaluate and improve ad performance.

Skills and Experience

  • Qualification in marketing, communications or business related area.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
  • Good attention to detail

  • Experience with Google Analytics and GA4 essential
  • Good organisational skills
  • Positive attitude
  • 3+ years experience in a marketing role or a related discipline

Location

Hybrid working – one day a week in our Bray office mandatory (Co. Wicklow) with option to be fully office-based if desired. This role will require some international travel.
